About Nomad Garden

We are a small experimental garden in Samara Camp, near Tindouf, Algeria. Here in the desert, we are exploring ways to grow organic food locally and sustainably, using very little water and making the most of the resources we have. Every plant, every animal, and every system in the garden is part of an ongoing experiment.Our goal is simple: to show that even in one of the harshest environments on Earth, it is possible to grow food, care for the land, and become a little more self-reliant.
